Stephan Malinowski is a musician who wrote a music visualisation program. These visualisations are pretty. They can also visually show musical patterns hidden to untrained idiots like myself.

A nice musical bit he visualised is the Frog Round. A "round" is a special kind of music where the same bit of music is played at different pitches, but each pitch is playing a different part of the same music from the other pitches. Don't ask me.
